simple, frugal links

I found some good blogs on simple living and living frugally. It's funny how they seem to go together.

* The Frugal Duchess
* Simplicity in Kansas
* Frugal for Life

Hi Thanks for the mention.

I enjoyed your piece about stars and billboards.

If you have time, are you interested in writing a Friday Spotlight piece for my blog?

Take care and best wishes!

Hi! I'm glad you liked that entry. I like your blogs a lot; I just started reading frugalbeauty.

Thank you for the very kind invitation, but I don't think I have anything cohesive to talk about for a piece. As you can tell from my blog, I haven't been prudent or frugal for a long time.

That's fine. Other points of view are fine & welcome.
Let's stay in touch!
take care

Kuri - Thank you for the post and visiting the simplicity blog. I too read/appreciate/value the frugal duchess and Frugal for Life blogs and have learned much about the simple life and saving money from these two on line mentors. Also, your Thoreau guote fits into the simplicity mantra! "The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it."

Many other great sites exist with simplicity are growing. Welcome to the on line community of simplicity and have a great day.

duchess - thanks, that would be great! I didn't mean to imply that other points of view weren't welcome - I just literally haven't a clue what I would write for a Friday Spotlight piece. I could write about ramen, but that probably has limited appeal :)

Simplicity - thank you for the welcome. Your blog and the duchess' are already being a good influence on me. I can appreciate simplicity but find it hard to actually follow.
